Television actress Dipika Kakar, best known for her roles in Sasural Simar Ka and her victory in Bigg Boss 12, has been discharged from the hospital following a successful surgery to remove a tumour. The actress, who had been admitted a few days ago for a medical procedure, is now back home and recovering well.
Dipika’s husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, confirmed the news through a heartfelt vlog and a series of Instagram stories. With visible relief and gratitude, he informed fans that the surgery went well and the doctors have declared Dipika “free from the tumour.” The couple had kept the nature of the illness private initially, leading to widespread speculation and concern among fans.
In his vlog, Shoaib shared, “Dipika is a warrior. The past few weeks have been emotionally challenging for us, but with the blessings of Allah and the love from you all, she is now recovering. The tumour was successfully removed, and doctors have assured us that there’s no cause for further concern.”
Dipika, still resting but visibly upbeat, also addressed her fans briefly, thanking everyone for their prayers and support. “I was scared, but Shoaib was my strength throughout. We have come out stronger from this. I am truly grateful to be back home and healthy again,” she said.
